Dear colleagues of KFTA, KFTU and KTU,

 

Cyprus Greek Teachers’ Organisation (POED) stands in solidarity with your mobilisation on October 9th and supports your efforts to defend teachers' rights, democratic freedoms, and quality public education in South Korea.

 

Teachers must be able to carry out their professional responsibilities without fear of unjust accusations, enjoy the fundamental rights guaranteed under international standards, and work in education systems that are adequately funded and supported.

 

We stand with your commitment to protecting the right to teach and the right to learn, and we wish you strength and success in your actions.
